Escape to the four season destination of the Blue Mountains and immerse yourself in its natural beauty. With its prime location just minutes away from local attractions, this mountain getaway ensures both convenience and serenity. This is a classic style chalet with character, ideal for bachelor/ette parties, college students, girls/guys weekends, and birthday parties. This is a laid back space tailored more for lively gatherings than quiet family vacations.

The Space

Relax and unwind in the cozy living room, where you'll find plush seating arrangements centred around a charming fireplace. Bask in the warm glow as you recount the day's adventures or indulge in a movie night with your loved ones. The living room is adorned with large windows, inviting you to take a moment to enjoy the surrounding nature. **Please note this home does not have air conditioning. There is central heating for colder months.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with appliances and cooking basics, convenient for when you're not dining at one of the popular local restaurants. Enjoy your meals in the connected dining area or on the patio. This home includes basic cookware, bakeware, cutlery, utensils, and a drip coffee maker; just bring your food, coffee, and spices! There is also a wood burning stove available for cooking meals. Garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap and towels, etc will be supplied.

Bedrooms

121 Tyrolean accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably, thanks to its five bedrooms inspired by the desired cottage feel. Bedrooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 each have one double bed. Bedroom 5 has one double bunk bed.

Outdoor Space

Step outside onto the spacious deck and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you sip your morning coffee or share meals at the large picnic table. Enjoy the panoramic views stretching before you, offering a serene backdrop for relaxation and connection.

Please keep the following in mind before choosing our chalet:

- This unit does not have air conditioning

- This is an older building with character, not a modern home

- While parties and gatherings are welcome, guests are still expected to respect the home and neighbours. The Town of The Blue Mountains has By-laws regarding noise (in effect 24/7) that can be strictly enforced at times. This is the case for all chalets in The Blue Mountains. Excessive noise may result in a check-in from security. Have fun but please be respectful!

What I love about the place is it has a sauna and most of all its proximity to the Blue Mountain Village/Resort. Furthermore, the PV Team is great in communication. They provide clear instructions and responds quickly.

Very responsive & flexible hosts! Location is just a walk to the village with views of the mountains all around. Only complaint would be the cleanliness of the unit. Dust on bedroom mirrors; cobwebs in window sills above the beds.

Our experience at this Airbnb was not ideal. Although the listing appeared charming in the photos, the reality was quite different. We discovered cobwebs in both the bedroom and living room, which made the place feel neglected and unclean. Additionally, the space didn't resemble the photos - the decor seemed outdated and worn. Overall, it didn't meet our expectations, and we were disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. Furthermore, there was no air conditioning, which made the place uncomfortably hot, especially during the summer. The value for money is subpar, and I question the suitability of the facilities for group sizes larger than 4-5.

It’s a great location and a great space fairly close to blue Mountain Village and the Collingwood beach. Very nice surroundings. Nice landscape area around the home. The home itself had a sort of an old charm like country cottage. Some bits and pieces were not working such as the light in one of the bedrooms and The main living room fan was not working. There were a couple of places where we found cobwebs and some dirt vacuum was also not working, so we could not do some self cleaning, but otherwise the place was fine, pretty decent and would recommended the only other thing is that they have twin beds instead of queen beds, which may not fit large individuals sometimes

We have been to Blue Mountains multiple times and always use Airbnb to rent out places. We have had some amazing experiences in the past. This unfortunately was the worst one. The pictures put up here are heavily edited and the house is very dull and not well lit in comparison. The house is not well maintained nor was it properly cleaned. We had spiders/webs in all the rooms, nails coming out of bed frames and benches. The bench on the deck is broken and a nail coming out of it hurt one of our kids in the leg. The bbq grill, probably never cleaned on the inside or the outside, was covered in dust and grease everywhere. Safety was a big concern as they do not have any fencing or private area (the backyard is shared with another house). The entry way to the house is open and we had a man sitting in the car from across the road staring at our kids playing right outside the deck. He only left after we threatened to call 911. It was a scary situation. The stay was not worth the money.

We addressed a number of small maintenance tasks and completed a deep clean of the property to ensure all issues had been rectified. Please note that the barbecue grill is cleaned and tested prior to each Guest stay per our procedures. In regards to our listing, we completed a review and while we appreciate that this home was not a fit for you and your group, we believe that the home is accurately represented in pictures as well as in the listing description. Additionally, while the backyard is not fenced, it is not shared with another property. It goes without saying that safety is a major priority for us. This home is located in the Tyrolean Village area of Blue Mountain – an area almost exclusively utilized by short term rentals. Please note that the home is regularly patrolled by our Security Team (who’s contact information is available in our Guest Guide) and also our Contact Centre is available 24 hours a day for any issues. In future, please do not hesitate to report any suspicious behaviour and we will escalate accordingly. We deeply regret that you felt your stay was not worth the money you paid and that it fell short of your expectations. We are committed to making the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for all our future guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to The Blue Mountains in the future and curate a better experience for you and your family.

Farid, thank you for your feedback. This entire unit is on private property with a private driveway. The main entry door (and private entrance) around the back of the unit is locked and only accessible with the access code given on arrival day. The two sliding doors that lead onto the front deck are also able to be locked from the inside. The perimeter of the property is lined with trees for privacy from the neighbours on the next lots over. Our call centre is available 24/7 if ever you have questions or requests during your stay. there was safety issue, because there was no private entrance

Farid, thank you for your feedback. This entire unit is on private property with a private driveway. The main entry door (and private entrance) around the back of the unit is locked and only accessible with the access code given on arrival day. The two sliding doors that lead onto the front deck are also able to be locked from the inside. The perimeter of the property is lined with trees for privacy from the neighbours on the next lots over. Our call centre is available 24/7 if ever you have questions or requests during your stay.
