Pros: The cottage was good, has all the amenities listed.great surroundings, hot water tub was amazing, good barbecue machine, fun place for families or friends, it is on top of the mountains so that you can always feel the foggy rainy ambiance Cons: Cleanliness was not great. Paid $300 just for cleaning, but the bathroom wasn’t clean. Reported to the PV team right away, but very cold response.There were no laundry soap in the laundry room, stains in the kitchen.

We booked the Ravenna property for an extended family getaway. The house was as pictured - clean and large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The hot tub and sauna were a bonus. Kitchen had everything we needed with a living area large and comfortable enough for us to hang out and catch up. Lots to do in the area (winery and distillery, hiking, Blue Mountain Village) and the views were stunning. We had a few questions during our stay and the team was extremely responsive and helpful. A lovely property for our group of eight with interesting out trip options nearby. Positive: Facilities provide lovely indoor and outdoor spaces for a group. The location is close to interesting opportunities- shopping, cidery, apple orchards, scenery. Parking is great for 8+ cars. Negative: The kitchen has a lot of good equipment, but was missing a few minor items e.g., tin foil, plastic wrap, right size coffee filters, measuring spoons, and the fry pans were too scratched in our opinion.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The place was spotless and well-kept, which made it feel like home for our group of 12 adults. One of the highlights was definitely the open layout of the kitchen and living room area, which made it easy for everyone to mingle and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, from utensils to cooking tools, making meal preparation a breeze. And let's not forget about the ample parking space and the awesome extras like the firepit, hot tub, and sauna – they really added to the overall experience. The host was super responsive to all our questions leading up to our stay, and everything was laid out perfectly when we arrived, so there was no confusion. Nice place close to parking at the top of silver bullet and southern comfort chair lifts. I would say that the place is priced for great but is only good as it falls short on a few things. Fireplace didn't work. Kitchen is sort of well appointed but cupboards are a mess of things everywhere. Beds aren't comfortable and are squeaky. Couches are peeling off leaving pieces of plastic leather everywhere. So overall quite okay, but should be price lower or fixed up to meet the cost level.

The property was excellent and worked perfectly for my family of 7. Checkin day was stressful. I woke up to an email saying I owed $226 for additional guests and my first thought was i am being scammed and may not have the rental ( family from California, Elder will Stage 4 cancer). We all met in Collingwood and when given the ok to proceed to rental, given wrong entry Code as they had us at wrong address. Once in the rental on day one our 5year old found a rolled up $5 bill with white powder, it was determined to be a narcotic. Next 3days were fantastic. Location perfect and accommodations outstanding! Truly a great property.

The property is just like how its shown. We had a comfortable stay, enjoyed and relaxed. Few road bumps we encountered are mentioned below. 1. You CANNOT use the hot tub after 11 pm (which was the main reason why we booked the property) 2. We were asked to turn down the volume which was not even that loud as the neighbours are quite near to the chalet. The host communicated and we turned it down at 9:30 pm. 3. Lots of bugs can come in from outside if you leave your door open even for a minute. Be mindful of the storm doors. 4. We requested politely to use the hot tub for a little bit extra but they straight away declined and mentioned a $500 fine if we use it past 11 pm. Few GOOD mentions about the property! 1. Lots of games and activities to engage with. We loved the axe throwing, puzzles, board games etc. 2. Kitchen is amazingly clean, huge and full of amenities. Missing blender. 3. Fire pit, Hot Tub and Barbecue were perfect! Overall, Amazing stay! Well maintained! Lovedit

We understand your disappointment in not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm. This bylaw is actually set by the Town of Blue Mountains. We certainly appreciate your call asking to extend the use, however, this regulation is something we must instill and abide by as the managing company of this rental unit. This property is next door to a residential home, so we always ask our guests to be mindful of the neighbours. My sons wedding was at nearby Georgian Hills Winery and this was a great base for the family and Groomsmen. Very central location whether you are visiting Collingwood/Blue Mountain Village or even The BeaverValley/Thornbury. Definitely will return for a weekend away, maybe during the winter because of the close proximity to the top of the Blue Mountain ski lifts. Just don't forget that if you park at the top, last call for the lifts is your last chance to get home. The Sauna is a great touch too.

Amazing place to stay through and through, my only critiques: some of the kitchen utensils/plates and other cookware were not as clean as they could have been (easily fixed by washing them), and the mattresses could have been better. Great location, the hosting company was very helpful and the chalet itself is beautiful. The après-ski sauna was an awesome treat. Would stay here again!

Our group had an amazing time. This house is perfect for larger groups with plenty of dining space both indoor and outdoor and spacious bedrooms/bathrooms for us all to feel at home. The house was immaculate and everything was in working order, and we particularly enjoyed being able to have bonfires every night, bbqs, and plenty of space for us to play bocce ball in the backyard. About a 4 minute walk down the road to top of the mountain with good views and access to chair lifts. The noise by law is very strict in the area and the property is run by third party so be prepared to have a few extra steps for checking in which requires providing additional details and ID. Their security guard will introduce themselves on the first night and explain the rules. A bit of a different experience, but overall no problems and if you keep it tame you will have a wonderful time.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! READ THE FULL TRUTH ABOUT THIS LISTING AND RENTAL COMPANY BELOW: A group of 12 of us stayed here from July 22 to July 24. It was one of, if not the hottest weekends of the summer. 32 degrees outside on both Fri and Sat. As soon as we arrived we noticed the house was scorching hot and the thermostat was reading 35 degrees. We attempted to turn on the AC which didn't work. We immediately reached out to the property manager who came and did absolutely nothing. He said the HVAC tech would come the next morning to fix it. We spent our first nights stay in a house that was so hot we could barely sleep. The HVAC technician did in fact come the next morning at 830am and he didn't fix the AC either. We were left to stay in a house that was 35 degrees for the entirety of our stay. The rental company didn't once offer to supply us with further fans or a portable AC unit. All they said was "Sorry, it's broken and won't be fixed during your stay." I wish this was the end of it. But it's not close. Outside of this, the outlets in 4 of the bedrooms didn't work at all. You couldn't charge your phone in your room let alone plug in a fan to attempt to make sleeping bearable in the 35 degree + house. The sauna which is advertised as in working order is in fact NOT in working order and the guys that were excited to use that weren't able to. The WIFI doesn't work at all. Without the WIFI most phones have no service whatsoever so you're basically left off the grid melting away in this cesspool of a sweat lodge. There is a massive garbage can that sits at the front of the house where they instruct party after party to dump all their garbage. They haven't emptied this garbage can in weeks and it smells like literal death. You can't be near it without gagging so this stench makes it impossible to spend anytime at the front of the home. By this point, you can't sit in the house because it's too hot, you can't stay at the front of the house because it smells horrendous, so enjoy your time having 12 people huddled in the backyard that's the size of a postage stamp. At the end of our horrendous stay, we expected to be compensated significantly. Instead we were offered 20% off of our stay that was $3210. All of the issues with the home including the AC, sauna and shoddy electrical were advertised as in full working order and we were never once notified before checking in that these issues were not in working order. If we had known there would be no A/C on the hottest weekend of the year, we would've cancelled our stay. We have escalated this issue to AirBNB support because it is important that monstrous rental companies like Valet Whatever they're called who have in excess of 90 properties being rented out don't get away with taking advantage of customers like us. The rental company has tried to deflect back to airBNB that we were not model guests and that we were caught "disturbing the peace". This is complete and utter nonsense. We were never once warned by the security guard they employ, we were never once contacted by the neighboring cottages and we were never once notified of any issues to our behavior from the property manager. To symbolize how out of touch with reality this company is, the security guard they employ to come by the home came by on the Saturday evening at 7pm and told us that "by-law dictates we be in the home with windows shut by 830pm" - imagine asking 12 guys without AC to shut the windows and be in a house at 830 that is 35 degrees. This is also not by-law on weekends in Ravenna, it's 11pm; so they're liars. Please take our advice. We were a group of 12 thirty something guys who have all travelled via airbnb on numerous occasions. Not one of the 12 of us has ever filed a negative claim with airbnb nor have we had a negative review against one of us. Take our advice when we stay DO NOT BOOK HERE OR WITH ANY PROPERTY THROUGH VALET WHATEVER THEY'RE CALLED. These people define incompetent. They are liars. They are frauds and you do not get what you pay for. When you seek reparation for a pathetic stay, they will twist the story and try and make you look like the bad guy. Think about this. They were willing to offer us 20% off our stay as "hush money" and to shut us up. When we (obviously) declined that joke of an offer, then out came the claims of "public nuisance and disturbing the peace" Hilarious how those stories never came out before we rejected your pathetic offer. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. OR. GIVE. THESE. PEOPLE. A. DIME.

Great place to stay for a group of people. Had everything we needed and had plenty of room. The street it’s on is very quiet but still very close to the top of blue mountain. Would recommend!

The unit is very nice and clean. Only complain is the wifi and rogers cellular network is very very weak. Don't expect to be able to "work from home".

We had a great skying holiday staying at this property. Very short drive to the parking lots above the slopes where we could park for free and ski down go the Village. The house was very clean and tidy. Highly recomended!

This modernized chalet is a MUST try! The living space is so cozy and spacious allowing room for all to move around. Kitchen was our meeting spot with that marble island equipped with bar stools - you'll share many jokes there! Very clean overall providing a home away from home feel. The only suggestion would be Kleenex boxes availability for runny noses and tea/coffee/sugar for quick breakfast starters. But overall, WE loved this spot... all 6 of us!
