Great chalet for a big group of friends who are looking for a close place to the hill

This is one of the worst Airbnb experiences I have had. The stove burners did not work and the beds were very uncomfortable. I had seen in previous comments that burners work intermittently but it had not been repaired when we arrived at this place. We could barely cook and had to order in for both days. Our baby got a stomach flue and had a minor accident and vomited on the bed sheet and they forced us to pay additional $65 on top of the high fees we had paid for a short weekend. This is very unprofessional, accidents happen and guests shouldn’t be treated this way. This bedsheet could’ve easily been put in the laundry to clean, but a laundry was not available to us at their unit. I would definitely not visit this Airbnb again. For such expensive Airbnb, a little consideration would have been helpful. This management company appears to only care about their peak performance and the dollar sign.

Our stay was great and the host was a pleasure to work with; proactively giving us information about the chalet and its surroundings and ensuring we were checked in safely and had all we needed. It was clean, spacious and private. Only a short walk to the Blue Mountain village and a quick drive to other amenities. Would for sure stay again!

Great location. It's good for large gatherings, but is "no frills" as it's an older unit. Plastic on the pillows...bring your own. The team was very responsive.

The PV team was very responsive! Quick to answer questions. Overall, the price was a bit high for what you get but comparative to other airbnbs in the area. Excellent lighting and upstairs area! It would be a good idea to bring some extra cutlery because the kitchen is a bit under stocked considering the number of people it is advertised as sleeping.

Great location . Nice unit . Hot on 3rd level on the top floor . Since it’s a duplex it’s narrow and the kitchen is on the top floor but it’s super spacious with 2 fridges and beautiful deck well equipped for a larger group . We enjoyed our time . Bring your own beach towels and shower towels if u have a bigger group and maybe a few xtra rolls of toilet paper . They have a great kurig coffee machine and nice mugs . I wish the back yard had a fire pit and chairs . Other than that 5/5

Great location and spacious house however the lack of transparency in the ad/unexpected house rules was frustrating to deal with so I wouldn’t stay here again. They requested an additional early check-in fee of $100 on the day of arrival, we had a private security guard kick us out of the hot tub at 11:15pm and were told we can’t use it from 11pm-7am although there are no signs and it wasn’t stated in the ad (he also didn’t say anything about noise levels). The ad shows 10 parking spots but it is shared with the Airbnb next door so our group of 13 could only come up with 5 cars. After checking out and leaving the place clean, the host mentioned there was some dirt on a few towels and were about to charge extra for it although it comes out when washed. The oven didn’t work properly (only heats up one side), one burner barely worked, the mattresses felt like gym mats, and the pillows were plastic. The quality of this place and strict rules didn’t match the price of the stay.

As there is a high demand for early check-ins, we've opted to utilize a first-come, first-served fee method for reserving and preparing our units for early check-ins. This is an option we offer on the day of check-in but is not mandatory. We also understand wanting to stay in the hot tubs a bit later when having fun with friends, but unfortunately the Town of Blue Mountains has bylaws that we have to abide by. As for the parking, while there is a lot of outdoor space on the property, available parking space can vary based on the size of vehicles brought. We've reviewed the listing and made sure that it is not stated that 10 cars can park at the home, and have concluded that the home is accurately represented in the listing. We've since sent in a member of our team to repair the oven burner and have forwarded your feedback about the bedding to the homeowner. We hope that regardless of these frustrations, we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to The Blue Mountains in the future.

Good stay, host was very responsive and ensured we had everything. The location was fantastic and it’s a five minute walk to the village. On the other hand, the place was not cleaned properly. It was very dusty and had many cob webs. The bathrooms nor the kitchen were not cleaned 100%.

Amazing place to stay in for a blue mountain ski trip! It had a lot of bedrooms and had 2 washrooms which were sufficient for a large number of guests. The pictures were accurate and the house was decorated really nicely. The rental was very clean and is in a very good location, very close to Blue Mountain. They also had quick responses and I would love to come back here again!

Only had a couple of issues… *Barely any hand soap in the bathrooms *Gross pan with dead bugs on it over kitchen cabinet *Shower had a leak that leaked into the basement bedroom into a guests bag of clothing *Outside very neglected (need to leaf blow and power wash) it was pretty gross *Worst pillows ever lol Otherwise great location, good for a big group to be close to the village and play games at!

Great stay. Amazing location. I would’ve loved it if the hot tub was behind the property and more secluded as everyone that was walking by saw us. The pictures don’t exactly match the house.

7.5/10 stay & would still recommend to others! Pros: - Sufficient kitchen utensils - Rec room/amenities all worked perfect - Big enough space for 16 people (kids/infants included) - Easy check-in/check-out - Easy to find, good location (~30 mins to Wasaga) - Excellent communication with their team - Sufficient parking for 4+ cars - 24/7 property security - Beds/linens/pillows are alright - Enough hot water for 16 people! Cons: - Trouble getting hot tub to a higher temperature - Dishes needed cleaning before use (although typical for any airbnb) - Room temperature on the bottom floor was quite chilly, so bring extra blankets - Stand-up shower is quite small/tight and drips a little outside the shower - Room temperature on top floor is quite warm in the summer, but the fan helped - It is attached to another unit (but luckily, neighbours were okay!) - Flies in unit (but sort of expected given the cottage side)

due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to stay in our originally booked property and the owner only informed us and property valet right before the stay was scheduled to begin. Dave and Logan at property valet were incredibly helpful and really went the extra mile to find us not only suitable, but a less expensive unit at the 11th hour. this was the best customer service I have ever recieved during any sort of rental process. I would highly recommend renting from them.

Amazing cottage. Great for large group of friends with tons of beds and rooms! Beautiful view of the mountains and spacious backyard! Close walk to the village. Lots of amenities and things to do. We really enjoyed our stay. Make sure you aren’t being loud outside (even during the day) as there is a 24/7 noise bylaw in that neighbourhood. Otherwise, we had a great time!!

Great space for a big group! The big windows and nice views from the main living room were a bonus. Our group loved the hot tub even with the restricted hours of use. Check in was easy with a code. I hadn't rented from a property management company before and there are a few more forms involved than an average air bnb but it wasn't difficult.

Pros: - great location, 5 mins to blue mountain, 15 mins to city where there’s a Walmart, LCBO, food places - House and hot tub was very clean upon our arrival - Spacious living area - Lots of parking (we had 6 vehicles fit perfectly) - trouble with lock upon arrival but hosts replied promptly to fix issue - Was able to fit blowup mattress in rooms with single beds - good amount of dishes/cutlery, maybe bring an extra pot/pan if cooking for large group (we had a group of 14) - bunk bed mattresses were large Cons - broken leg and box spring on one bed upon arrival - Not enough stools in basement by the games/ping pong table. Only one stool for retro games and the other one was holding the door open - Uncomfortable beds (very hard) - Bathroom with two sinks had a faulty lock - some rooms ran hotter than others, if you’re on top bunk you’d get more heat on you

My family and I had a great stay. It was only a 5 minute drive to the Blue Mountain village. It got cold during one of the nights, but there were extra comforters to keep us warm on the couch. Luckily we brought our own comforters as a couple of the extra ones didn’t smell clean. Overall a tidy and lovely place. We were concern about parking, but the space on the side of the house was big enough to park 4 SUVs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable although the top bunkie didn’t look safe to have small children sleep up there. The kids enjoyed the basement which had arcade games, ping pong table and a foosball. We didn’t get to use the jacuzzi as our time was limited. Would definitely stay again :)

Place is well-located if you’re looking for easy access to Blue Mountain Village (approx 1 km). Beautiful windows in the main living area give the place a nice open feel. Overall the place was good, definitely could use some updating (eg. old carpet in the majority of the rooms). Also worth mentioning that there is a kitchen, however not the most modern/well-stocked. It is great to have a place that sleeps so many people, however given the price point were expecting a bit more. It’s also a semi-detached property, so worth noting (we didn’t hear any noise from the group next door).

Prompt communication. Off-leash dog park within walking distance (doggo loved it)! Plenty of activities for the whole family, kids loved the basement. Overall, decent stay, just very cold. Observation: - This is a semi-detached dwelling; you're essentially sharing the other half of the building - Not as remote of an area as we thought. There are houses within stone throw, but overall, quiet - The basement was hot, while the top floor (kitchen & dining area) was cold; we wore our winter jackets the entire time. Host provided a heater, which honestly did not make a difference, given the large space. Wish they had portable heaters instead of fans in every room (it's December) - They charge you a clean fee, but want you to throw the rubbish yourself. Some areas (roof) leaked, but they provided a certain refund for the inconvenience (appreciated!). Staff (I think) came a few minutes prior to check out, which made us more nervous as we were rushing to ensure timely and proper check out.

We had a great stay at the chalet, the pictures don't do it justice! We didn't realize the unit was half of a larger house but luckily no one was staying there so there were no noise issues. Pros: -lots of space -fast communications with Property Valet -great amenities (hot tub, sauna, ping pong and foosball table were awesome) -nice little touches like some makeup wipes in the bathroom -walkable to BM village Things to Note: -bare bones kitchen cooking essentials: there's a keurig but you need to bring your own pods; they were out of regular table salt, there was no cooking oil etc. -Bed and pillows are not the comfiest (might want to bring your own pillow) -one of the days the ceiling on the top floor kept leaking in multiple places (our guess is that snow was melting and coming through?), we couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from (notified Property Valet and they offered to take a look at it but it felt pointless because it seems like a structural problem)

The Perfect Place for Large Groups. I recently hosted my sister's bachelorette party at this location, it was the perfect spot. It's very close to the village, which is great for touring. As well, it perfectly fit our group of 12 - everyone had their own bed. The Host was very kind, leaving a welcome note and little pointers throughout the home. Overall, the home was very clean & came with all the amenities. Everything from cleaning products to kitchen utilities. Each person was given their own set of towels and the beds were very cozy. Finally, the communication was excellent! They gave us lots of notice and confirmation prior to check-in. Arrival and check-in were so seamless, thanks to the clear instructions. The Host was sure to check-in on how things were going and gave lots of instructions for check-out, which were minimal. I've stayed in other AirBnB's in the area and this has to be the best!

Place was great! Great location for touring around and hiking, spacious for 11 people! Communication could be better, I requested to change 13ppl to 11 and no pet, two weeks prior to our visit but no replies on that. One concern we had was there might be a hive somewhere that the management should check because unfortunately we had to kill many wasps during stay. But overall, was a nice place to stay with many friends to celebrate friendsgiving!

The host was great at communication. They treated us with red wine. When we needed soap at toilet paper we got it right away. Very close to the blue mountain village. Security in the area was quite nice. They also let us checkout late without being charged Overall a great stay.

Very poorly managed property. It is managed by a third-party company (Property Valet) and lacks attention to details. Upon our arrival, the unit did not have a number displayed so it was difficult to identify if it was the correct location. The hot water was not working and they did not send someone to fix it until the next day. We had 13 people desperately wanting a shower and we had to shower with freezing cold water. There was only two roles of toilet paper for 13 people. The internet and wifi routers were both unplugged and we didn’t know where they were located so we had no internet the first day. The large element on the stove did not work. There was no coffee or coffee filters. There was a Keurig but there were no Keurig pods. The pillows felt like cardboard covered in plastic. The lights outside for the hot tub were not working so we were not able to use it in the evening. The paddles and balls for the ping pong table were so damaged that they were unusable. There was no fire pit. The place was simply not well cared for. It felt more like college dorm rather than an Airbnb. The company managing this location should not be listing on AirBnB as it gives AirBnB a bad name. I recommend looking for an AirBnB managed directly by the owners. It’ll have better services and it will be better cared for.

Property Valet ensured the place was ready for our group and it was as advertised. The kitchen had everything and the ping pong table and hot tub was great for downtime. The TV had some issues in regards to streaming through the built in chromecast, but really, we didn't have much time for TV anyways so not a big deal. Property Valet was also really easy to get in touch with which is a huge thing for my peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone travelling with a group looking for a weekend away.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. I read some reviews that were super helpful like bringing your own pillow. There were plenty of pillows however it’s nice to have your own since they were completely different than what I’m used to. The only problem we ran into was we ran out of toilet paper for the number of people we had. Other than that the location was amazing with the view of the mountain, and the place was the perfect size for our group. The kitchen came with great supplies that we didn’t need to bring anything but food. LOVED the ice maker! The hot tub was an awesome addition! Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice spot close to the Blue strip. Ideal for a group of Friends using the place just to sleep and hit the slopes/explore. I would recommend bringing your own pillow and extra towels. Beds were not very comfortable. Had a great time nonetheless.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. There were enough towels and toiletries for our stay of 5 days. The only issue was that the hot tub did not warm up and the lid kept on flying off with the wind. Other wise we loved this place and would definitely come back :)

Although government enforced restrictions for indoor gatherings and non essential travels, the host did not let us to cancel and did not agree to refund us. We paid almost 4600 CAD for three nights which was totally over price for the place. We were 12 people and had to cancel 2 people still all people in our group of ten got Covid-19 and tested positive just because they did not get their refund and decided to go there as the host did not agree to refund them and this way put people life in danger. Beside all these, the cottage was indeed over priced! No charcoal bbq (in the description it says it has it), broken gas bbq (all our meat had to be dumped), leaky ceiling in the main room and one of the bed rooms in the basement, no wash room in the basement, are among the examples of this place no where near a perfect place to stay and have fun!

Listing was accurate. It's a solid place for a couple of families with young children to stay under one roof. Just a few min drive from the village and 15 min drive to Collingwood made it very convenient.
