Location was nice, outside was great except for the dirty patio. Hundreds of spiders and old spider webs. I understand being in nature but it seriously hadn't been swept or cleaned it looked like for weeks. I was fine with it but my friends were terrified to sit down which actually provided a laugh but it was pretty unacceptable for the price you are paying for this place. They did come the second day to clean them up when the owner of the house saw the state and called the property management. but the fact that they had left it like that for a check in is wild!

We agree that this was unacceptable. Prior to your check in, our team had pressure washed and cleaned the exterior of the home as the spiders can be common at this time of year. Unfortunately, it seems as though this was not enough as you noted many spiders. We've since pressure washed the exterior areas several times and are happy to share that the issue has been resolved. We're truly sorry that this unexpected issue impacted your stay and we hope that you'll consider returning so that we can provide you with a better experience.

The best part about this place is the uninterrupted view of the lake. You'll be in awe with the views. Conveniently, there is a Circle K right across the road, which was nice to be able to pick up some essentials and snacks without getting in the car. The Georgian Trail is also just across the road, which was nice to take walks on during our stay. The layout of this place is fantastic for large groups. Lots of washrooms, and all the bedrooms on the 2nd floor made it great for noise separation. The hot tub and the steam room were really nice to have, even though the hot tub was a bit old and 'used'. Still took full advantage of those features. Highly recommend this place for large groups or families. Nice that the pets were allow to stay with us too!

Great location, short trip to Collingwood or Thornbury and all the ski slopes. Great mini grocery across the road as well as a convenience store with LCBO outlet. This is our third year in the house and it's great but starting to show it's age and could use some maintenance, nothing that's a deal breaker, we'll likely return!

Location was beautiful and house had everything we needed. However, the outdoor space was desperate for cleaning/maintenance. We had to sweep/mop the outside as the cobwebs and bugs were so bad. Dishwasher was also not working as soon as we got there so had to hand wash all our dishes. Host did offer to have their handyman come out to fix it, but we declined. With a bit of outdoor and indoor maintenance, this property could really be beautiful and so worth it, however at this time, it was not worth the money we paid.

Location is convenient and the view off the back deck is spectacular! It's located on a busy road so it was somewhat loud in the mornings. Hot tub was clean and much-appreciated after a day of skiing! It was nice having the clothes dryer, too, as well as the heated floors on the main level. House is very big, with lots of room and plenty of closet space. However, a few extra towels and kitchen cloths would have been appreciated (we were 8 people, including 4 children, over 4 days with only 1 towel each; kitchen only had 1 cloth and 2 towels)--there weren't even extras in a closet somewhere. Kitchen was not very well stocked, considering how many cupboards it had--the only cutting board was wooden and broken. Garbage containers didn't have bags in them, although bags were there. Again, lots of space, but missing that home-away-from-home feeling.

I had a wonderful experience at this place! The staff was friendly, the place was impeccably clean, and toiletries were well-stocked. The only challenge was the quick depletion of hot water, resulting in cold showers for a group of 8. Additionally, access to the hot tub was limited until 11 pm, regardless of maintaining a quiet atmosphere.. Despite these minor issues, my overall stay was great.

Beautiful place to stay! Very clean. Loved being right on the water! Only thing I would say is that we wished there were more towels provided as well as extra blankets. Also, as it sleeps 8, there was t a lot of glassware- had to hand wash glasses and dishes in order to make sure we had enough.

Property is right on the lake with beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. It is on a busy road but the traffic didn’t bother us. Kitchen is large although could use a few extra cooking utensils. But we managed fine. Great location for a girls weekend. Hot tub was clean

Location is brilliant if you want to hit wineries, cideries, the Village, Thornbury. Everything is literally an 8-10 drive. House is laid out well for large groups to all have seating and hang out together. Lots of comfortable beds (5 in total) and bedding was fresh and clean. It's directly across the street from a Circle K with LCBO/Beer which was SUPER handy. The view of the lake was spectacular. We stayed in October so a little windy to sit outside but I'm guessing the summer is just incredible. One thing that is great about this house for large groups is there is 4 bathrooms with 4 showers! Kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd need. Pack your hairdryer, I missed that on the amenities, that's more just an FYI. Overall, clean, great location and exceeded our expectations. Will book here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It is so close to the Village at Blue Mountain making our restaurant and adventure options unlimited. The hot tub was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise and to enjoy the evening stars in the sky. The hot tub combined with the steam room was a bonus after time spent out exploring the various hikes and trails that the area has to offer. Our group was small but the property could definitely accommodate 8 people easily. Hope to return again in the future!

We had a very nice stay and the location was great. We did have an unexpected power outage as there was an accident across the street. However, this had nothing to do with the property or the owner. My family had more fun all being together rather than being in several rooms in a hotel. Thanks for the stay.

The first thing that we noticed was how dirty this home was. We wiped the tables and counters and they were really dirty.. dried up stains on the sofas.. cob webs on window sills and even around the dining table light fixture. We stayed for three nights, and we had no working AC for the first two nights. It was very uncomfortable sleeping at night. Property Management did reply quickly, and were attentive, but could not fix the AC until our last day there. The team bought us two fans to help with the heat. We were also offered to stay in another home but it did not have the water front that I had paid for. This property has a lot of potential if it was even clean. With a lake view you would think that the windows would be a little clean. They were extremely dirty with dead bugs on the sills. The dishwasher tab section was broken off, and the hot tub jets do not work on one side. We were given a small credit, but still spent a lot of money to stay here.

We stayed for the long weekend with family. The location is absolutely beautiful. Sunrises are an absolute must to witness. The circle K located across the street is also really convenient. The house was the perfect size for our family of 8. We loved that we could walk down to Northwinds Beach. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making meals together. A few improvements could be made though: The outdoor deck railing doesn’t feel overly secure. Don’t lean on it. The windows: They need a clean. Even the inside windows had a ton of finger prints and were not cleaned before arrival. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed the communication with the property management company. Questions were answered quickly.

Just a couple of things threw us off. We didn’t know how to work the fireplace and we had a hard time with the television. Some of the windows were missing working handles in order to open them. Several light bulbs were burned out. BUT, the management came over and took care of all of our concerns. We liked the place so much we have booked it again for next year. Really looking forward to it.

The VRBO and location are great. We enjoyed our stay especially the large balcony overlooking the water. A note to the property management company; while the house was very clean and provided everything, there are a few items that showed thier age and were in need of repair. If fixed, it would make a difference for the next guests. Even with that, we would deffinately stay there again.

Six family members recently flew out to Collingwood from various places in the country, and rented one of your properties. The occasion was most special as we celebrated a dear family friend’s 100th birthday. The location was very near to where the celebration took place. We enjoyed the view, and sound of the waves. Great location. A few Minutes to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Some of the best views. We stayed at this location 15 years ago not a lot has changed it was great then really new.. That’s not a real good thing. It needs an overall refresh paint some new furniture would go along way. A good scrub down would really help as well. Hot tub also needs repair on 1/2 the jets work.

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy. Love the lake view, hot tub and the steam room. All the bedrooms are in good size, amazing view from the bedrooms looking out the lake. We had BBQ, one of the burners is broken and took long time to grill. Not enough bowls for eight ppl and only have one big pot. Other than that it was a good stay.

This place is incredible and we will definitely stay again. Positive: The view was spectacular and the place was incredibly clean. Negative: The air conditioning was not working. But we opened windows and a nice cross breeze made it a non issue. There was no area to walk to the water to dip in your feet, like the neighbour's had a ladder to do so. And privacy between units would be a nice improvement. You can see directly onto the deck.

What a fantastic location for our recent bike trip! Stunning views, easy on and off the Georgian Trail system, lots of parking, close to shopping and a delightful cafe’. The Property Valet team was excellent. Very quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. We had a glitch with the barbecue and they immediately replaced it with another one. The property was clean and well appointed. A couple of constructive suggestions: - three of the six sets of jets in the hot tub did not work, so that should be serviced; - please dust under the beds; - please add a couple more dish towels; - the utensil drawer to the left of the sink needs repair, it comes off track if pulled out too far. Overall, I would definitely recommend renting this property. Thanks to Chris and his team for a wonderful Collingwood adventure!

The location was really good. Beautiful view and we couldn't ask for more. The house was well furnished,our only complaint was the kitchen was a tad lacking(They only had 2 garbage bags and didn't have any Saran wrap, tin foil or condinments) Our biggest complaint was the house was HOT. Either the air condition wasn't functioning properly or it was just off and despite being a lake front property, there wasn't alot of wind. My last issue and i guess personal pet peeve is that despite paying for the cleaning service(Mandatory on airbnb), there was alot of items that would be cleaned better. For example, the kitchen ventilation literally had oil dripping and alot of insect bodies and my closet in my room had a blue mountain ski resort ticket left behind from previous tenants.. which means it wasn't cleaned or checked properly. Overall the experience was very good and Right across the street was a Circle K which was a certified LCBO and Beer store. They had a large variety of items.

Big place, lots of room and lots of bathrooms. Great view of the bay. It’s on a busy road but from the patio you’d never know. Connivence Store, Coffee Shop and small grocery (good butcher) are directly across the road. Minutes to ski hill and a short drive into town. Family would love to go back.

Amazing property. The hot tub makes it feel like you’re in your own oasis. Right on the water which makes you feel like you’re on a resort! A few broken items(very minor). Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils/pots etc and it is a huge help that there is 2 fridges. Location is ideal. 3 min drive to the village. Will definitely be booking this property again!

The chalet was beautiful! Our check-in was delayed as the cleaners did not have it ready in time. There was also broken glass found on the deck and a broken drawer in the kitchen. The hot tub wasn't warming up for us and we were told on the Friday that a technician would be out to look at it on the Saturday but no one showed up. Otherwise the chalet is beautiful with a breath-taking view and lots of indoor space. I would suggest bringing your own towels for the hot tub.

We had a great stay here! The view is so incredible, and the kitchen and living areas are perfect for a small group. The bedrooms are all on the top floor, and quite well sound insulated, so going to sleep/waking up at different times was no problem. We definitely plan to go back to this spot.

This home has a beautiful view of Georgian Bay. The home can host a group of 8 comfortably. 5 minute drive to the hills. Great bedrooms and linens and enough bathrooms for group. Large dining table to share dinner together. Large kitchen with 2 fridges. Hot tub was in great condition and perfect for apres ski. Deck can be quite slippery in winter when exiting the hot tub so beware. House is showing its age but still very comfortable. Excellent communication with rental company.

It was such an amazing stay, a beautiful place with a beautiful view. The hot tub needed re-servicing and within an hour the technician was there and fixed it. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful home with amazing views. You could hear the waves at night which was beautiful. Three of the four bedrooms have a lake view which made waking up each morning a joy. Would love to go back!

There was a service call to repair an appliance while we were there and they showed up at 8am and woke us up. The fact we had to deal with this on vacation is disappointing considering the place would be vacant the next day since we were checking out in the morning. we like to cook and the pots and pans and utensils were awful especially for the price of of the air bnb. They were so bad they need to be thrown away. It was very disappointing. The property is starting to show its wear and tear and really needs some attention. Location and views are fantastic and the size of the house is great. Check in and out is easy. Overall a fun time and stay.

I was up along with 3 other people for work and this airbnb made our trip that much easier. The hot tub was key for us after every shift. The Circle K convenience store directly across the street was a bonus. Plenty of space. Plenty of bathrooms. Overall no complaints from us. Great spot!

I don't want to write a bad review however please consider the following suggestions: 2- need more towels 3- didn’t have enough cookware bigger size pans and pots 4- there were no oven tray or oven pan 5- foil . Wipe. Spray for kitchen 6- no mat for all bath 7- not enough bowl for soup

Right when you open the door you are welcomed by the view of Georgian Bay through the windows of the living room. We were just a family of 3 for a mini getaway, but this will easily sleep 8 comfortably! 3 of the 4 rooms have en suites bathrooms and all have a few of the Bay. Extremely clean. Heated floors. Open concept kitchen/living. Huge patio deck with Hot Tub and Gas BBQ! We used both and even grabbed meat across the street at the Surf and Turf Butcher for the BBQ. 25 second drive to Northwinds Beach, or you can just walk it. No issues with the paid parking, quite a few spots were available during prime time. Check in/out was extremely easy. Welcome binder laid out all the house rules and instructions for everything. Circle K/LCBO directly across the street. We had a fantastic time and will be back again soon. The view in the morning made you feel like you left the Country. Thank you again!

The location and views are fantastic. The communication with the company is great, especially the visit just after we arrived. BUT be prepared that there are some issues with wear and tear throughout the unit and a lot of things that you would think would be there (kitchen wise) that aren’t. Happy to give more info if requested. Overall we enjoyed our time there but were disappointed given the price asked.

This was such a great unit for the purpose of our friends getaway! The waterfront property and hot tub on the deck was a huge drawing factor, and these proved to be great assets on our visit. The waterfront sunrise and daytime view was perfect; the hot tub on the deck allowed us to all be together, whether soaking in the tub or not. The space was large enough for 8 of us to gather quite comfortable, whether in the kitchen, dining room or living room. The beds were very comfortable and pillows satisfactory (although I may bring my favourite from home next time). The multiple washrooms with showers were perfect for our large group and the two refrigerators allowed us to store a large amount of food. There were some pieces that were missing from the kitchen which would have been helpful, but nothing that would deter us from recommending others to book here too. The property was directly across from the Georgian Trail which allowed for a lovely fall walk, during which time we hopped back across the street to walk through Craigleith Provincial Park (for free). It was a quick drive into Collingwood for shopping on Hurontario Street (or the Village if we had chosen to) and many restaurants. The drive to park our 2 extra vehicles was only minutes away, which we appreciated. The property management team were fantastic and very quick to respond to questions. We contacted the manager to inform of a leaky toilet, to which they promptly responded and offered to fix while we were there (it was not an urgent issue so we allowed them to wait until we were gone). We had a fabulous weekend, and while we could have a fabulous time together no matter where you park us, the location was a hit and we are likely to book here again for another weekend getaway in the future.

Great spot, beautiful views, good location. Comfy beds. Age of the place is showing as items throughout the place are showing wear. Sprinklers turned on at 10:30am checkout at 11am right when you are trying to pack your car to leave.
